While designing this vintage piece, I wanted to capture the duality of faith and defiance—how they coexist in all of us. The nun, often seen as a symbol of obedience and purity, is wielding an axe, flipping that whole idea upside down. It's about breaking free from what society expects and carving your own path, even if it’s messy, even if it goes against the grain.
 
For anyone who has ever felt the need to challenge the rules, to step outside the lines drawn by society or tradition, the Mary Jane shirt is a wearable reminder that we can find our own truth.
